From San Francisco: Take I-80 East, (Do not take I-80 Reno). As you enter the Sacramento area, take the Capitol Mall / Jefferson Avenue exit (Downtown Exit). Cross Tower Bridge then take a left at the second light onto 2nd Street and into Old Sacramento. From 2nd Street turn left at K Street. The Delta King will be right in front of you at the intersection of Front and K Streets.

From Interstate Hwy 5: From the I-5 take the “J” St. Exit (Downtown). Then make an immediate left, in front of Denny’s, onto 3rd Street and follow the signs into Old Sacramento. Turn left on 2nd Street, then right at K Street. The Delta King will be right in front of you at the intersection of Front and K Streets. 

 

From South Lake Tahoe/ Placerville: Take Highway 50 west, to I-80 West, then I-5 North to “J” Street. From the I-5 take the “J” St. Exit (Downtown). Then make an immediate left onto 3rd Street and follow the signs into Old Sacramento. Turn left on 2nd Street, then right at K Street. The Delta King will be right in front of you at the intersection of Front and K Streets.

From Reno: Take I-80 west to I-5 South (Sacramento turn off). From the I-5 take the “J” St. Exit (Downtown). Then make an immediate left onto 3rd Street and follow the signs into Old Sacramento. Turn left on 2nd Street, then right at K Street. The Delta King will be right in front of you at the intersection of Front and K Streets. 

 

Oversized Vehicles, Trailers and Motorcycles: We are unable to park vehicles with trailers or oversized vehicles because of height and width limitations along with the unfamiliarity of driving vehicles of this type. Please ask the valet for directions to the various parking areas for these types of vehicles. Under no circumstances can we park motorcycles due to our insurance limitations and the special driver’s licensing required.

Public Parking Garages: For your convenience, there are two nearby public garages at the entrances to Old Sacramento, Tower Bridge Garage and Old Sacramento Garage at the corner of 3rd and L streets.

When Traveling to Old Sacramento by Boat: 

The Old Sacramento Waterfront Public Docks are owned and operated by the City of Sacramento and provide a place for the boating public to stop for a meal or a visit to Sacramento’s historic waterfront. Conveniently located on the Old Sacramento Waterfront, the Public Docks provides easy access for temporary boaters as well as overnight boating guests.

The public docks are located on the Sacramento River near the Tower Bridge at Capital Mall directly behind the Delta King and Horn blower and can be accessed from the street at Front and L Street in Old Sacramento Waterfront or the Promenade next to the Embassy Suites Hotel at Front and Capital Mall.  For more Information and rates please contact the City of Sacramento Dock Program at:
